After many years of talking about getting our estate in order, my wife and I finally got in motion to get it done. My brother and sister in-law had gone to Rob to have their planning done and said they had a great experience. We experienced the same thing. Our initial contact phone call was with Amy. Very pleasant and enjoyable to work with. Rob was extremely helpful, informative, straight forward and professional. I was recommended Longstreet Elder Law by a family friend. This friend had been working with another firm and was disappointed with their service and fee structure. They were pleased with Longstreet’s.

While my parents had written a will; they did not take into account issues where they needed assistance with medical or financial needs. Prior to my appointment at Longstreet’s office, I was given specific tasks to accomplish to make our meeting both efficient and productive. The meeting was nothing I had envisioned. You don’t sit with just a lawyer going over forms; there is a medical specialist in the room with you that understands what is involved with elder care and steers the outcome to fit your needs. I left feeling confident we had a good plan in place and they not only helped me with the documents I needed, but provided much needed advice for a plan to help my mom’s current physical, fiscal and emotional needs.

After the meeting, they quickly got to work and sent drafts of the documents via email. After a few modifications; we scheduled a time to meet where my mom was placed to finalize the process.

To say I’m pleased is an understatement. Currently both my wife and I are working on our estate plan with Longstreet so we don’t put our kids in the same situation we’ve been trudging through.

We contacted Mr. Rob Longstreet Longstreet to discuss Medicaid and Long Term Care Planning after learning my father would soon be admitted into a nursing home. We were unfamiliar with either program and needed someone to understand our situation and offer support.
Mr. Longstreet gave us the information we needed and helped to guide us through the application process.

We needed to update legal documents after a death in the family and then apply for Medicaid. Through the entire process the team at Longstreet was courteous, professional and compassionate. Kathy and Sara stayed in constant contact with us and kept us up to date with the Medicaid application. The process took about 5 months and at times was overwhelming but the team would always answer my calls or call me back very quickly. We are very grateful we found such a great firm to work with. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing estate planning or help with Medicaid.
